The Muslim Empires

On Thursday 11th, Apr. we began our next unit on the Muslim Empires. We will be looking at three in particular; The Ottomans, the Safavids, and the Moguls (also known as the Mughals). Today we focused specifically on the Moguls. If you were absent, please do the following to make up what you missed:

1) Read Pages 498-502 of your text book and create 15 questions that you feel would address the important points and vocabulary of the section. Each question should be a sentence long and require at least a sentence as an answer.

Since you were not here to work with a partner, after you have created your sentences, answer them.

2) We watched a video on the military and cultural achievements/accomplishments of the Moguls. Please research the internet and write a 1 page typed, double spaced report on the achievements/accomplishments of the Moguls, paying specif attention to the military and cultural aspects. Please do not repeat what you read in the book.

3) Begin thinking about the poster assignment. We will be working on that next class as well and is not required as homework.
