Africa: A History Denied

On Thursday 4th, Dec. and Friday 5th, Dec. we corrected our assignment last time on Ali Cogia. We then spent time discussing and looking at African history. We watched a video, taking notes to answer three questions. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

1) Turn in your assignment from last time.

2) Watch the following videos and take notes that answer the following three questions. You should take enough notes total that would fill 1-1.5 pages.

- Why do we know so little of African history? (There are many factors.)
- What did white settlers say and think about Africans and their history? What were some theories that they developed to explain African history?
- Who discovered the truth about Great Zimbabwe, what were they like? How did they do it and how was the discovery received by others?

Video Part 1: Africa - A History Denied

Video Part 2: Africa - A History Denied (You only need watch the first 8 minutes of this clip!)

Thanks.
